The Balmain Massage Centre is a business registered in NSW and owned by TVi Productions Pty Ltd of Suite 612, 16-20 Smail Street, Broadway NSW 2007, Tel. 02 9281 8081, Fax 02 9280 4859, ABN 47071157661.

The business is located inside the Loyalty Square Centre, a commercial buiding opposite the Woolworths carpark in Balmain - address and other details below.

For the first eight years since its inception in 2006 it was located on the upper floor of 244A Darling Street, Balmain.

Privacy

When you first visit us we ask you to provide some details about yourself, including address, email, mobile number, relevant medical history and any other information that may assist our therapists do their job.

Such data is routinely used only in the course of providing our services. For instance, we use your contact details to send you a reminder of an upcoming appointment. In the form you fill we ask you also whether you wish to authorise us to send you information via email or SMS: occasionally we may contact you to inform you of relevant news such a a variation in opening hours, a new modality or service, or special offers. In some cases you have to opt in to receive information (following us on Twitter, for example); if not, we provide the opportunity for you to opt out of receiving information by email or SMS.

Therapists also record a range of information about your visits and the treatment they provide. We treat these records as confidential, and in no case shall we share such information or your contact details with third parties unless forced to do so by an authority legally entitled to make such request.

Rebates

Every therapist who works with us has at least a Diploma of Remedial Massage and several years' experience, and is registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society, the Australian Association of Massage Therapists or equivalent.

This, in turn, means that they are registered with all the key heath funds, enabling you to get your rebate either immediately through HICAPS, or after claiming from those few funds that do not support direct claiming. It also means our therapists are fully covered by Medical Malpractice Insurance, adding to peace of mind. We say "Rebates are only part of the story", and we mean it.
