Remedial massage helps treat injuries where the skin is intact by improving blood and lymph flow, removing blockages, and loosening scar tissue and adhesions.
-
Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles and, in its sport version, the techniques have been adapted to meet the athlete’s special needs.
-
Pregnancy massage is different from standard remedial massage. Certain areas of the body are avoided during pregnancy massage, and the woman is positioned on her side or using a pregnancy cushion to safely accommodate the belly. All our therapists are trained in pregnancy massage.

Lymphatic drainage brushes on the skin over the main lymph ducts. Its main applications are in the aftermath of a surgical procedure and in the treatment of lymphoedema. But it’s also a cleansing and re-energising treatment, perfect to de-stress.

Reflexology involves massaging, stretching and kneading feet. It promotes a state of total relaxation, stimulates blood flow and encourages hormonal balancing. Areas on the foot correspond to specific areas of the body, and reflexologists believe that by manipulating these areas, one can improve overall health.

Scalp massage can alleviate tension headaches, reduce stress, and help in the exfoliation of dead skin cells, leading to a healthier scalp environment. Additionally, the act itself is deeply relaxing and can provide a sense of well-being, making it a favoured choice for holistic self-care.
-
Relaxation massage (sometimes called Swedish massage) relieves the body of tension and stress, headaches and minor pains and increases general wellbeing. The therapist often uses a lighter touch than in remedial massage.

Myofascial release aims to treat the fascia, the “cling wrap” that envelops all our muscles and organs, which is increasingly targeted as the key to resolving some persistent muscular problems. Often, suction cups are used to release the fascia and the deeper musculoskeletal structures, making them an excellent treatment for chronic pain.
-
Hot stone massage is a deeply soothing and relaxing form of massage that uses smooth basalt stones, heated to a moderate temperature. The skilled therapist actually uses the stones to work on your muscles. The heat warms and relaxes the muscles, improves circulation and calms the nervous system.
-
Aromatherapy is an ancient treatment with a reputation for excellent health benefits. Essential oils extracted from plants, including leaves, bark, roots, seeds, resins, and flowers, are used to help improve physical and mental well-being.
-
Reduction massage is a specialised therapy designed to target areas of the body prone to fat accumulation, such as the thighs, waist, abdomen, and buttocks. While it doesn’t magically “dissolve fat,” this technique boosts blood flow in the targeted region and can enhance metabolism, aiding in calorie burning and promoting a more contoured silhouette
